Garcia-Molina, starring Kathryn Bernardo, who plays young Athena Dizon/ Kelay
Dizon and Daniel Padilla, who plays young Kenji Delos Reyes/ Kenneth Delos
Reyes.

The film, She’s Dating the Gangster, was a
huge success in the Philippines and had various international screenings as
well in countries like the United States, Canada, Australia and United Arab Emirates.
The film had a lot of positive reviews from various fans and critics and
currently holds a 83% rating according to Rotten Tomatoes with an average
rating score of 4.3 star out of 5.
The film seems to be a very entertaining
movie and fans who love romantic comedy and drama would absolutely love it. The
movie is in Tagalog and English and I personally being a non-Filipino speaker,
didn’t have much problem understanding it, thanks to English subtitles. The
very idea of having the movie being a narrated story of a father and his love story
with the son’s love story in the current generation simultaneously was a great
concept which I personally seem to love. As the name of the movie says, She’s
Dating the Gangster, is a story of Kenji Delos Keyes who happened to be a
gangster when he was young and then how love changed him and his life. Won’t
put much focus on the story as things are better in suspense until you watch it.
Would I recommend anyone to watch this
movie? Oh yes. Doesn't matter whether you’re a teenager or an adult, She’s Dating The Gangster is totally an entertaining Filipino movie and I think the
movie is totally worth a watch.
