As I approach my mid-30s, I can't help but reflect on the many lessons I've learned along the way. I've had my fair share of successes and struggles, but every experience has taught me something new. Here are 30 things I've learnt from being 30:

1.   It's never too late to start over.

2.   Being single doesn't mean being lonely.

3.   Always take time for self-reflection.

4.   Success is subjective.

5.   Travel as often as you can.

6.   Learning a new language opens up a world of opportunities.

7.   Don't be afraid to ask for help.

8.   Find a mentor who can guide you in your career.

9.   A positive attitude can make all the difference.

10.                     Networking is key to professional success.

11.                     Don't underestimate the value of a good night's sleep.

12.                     Relationships take work.

13.                     Don't be afraid to take risks.

14.                     Perfectionism can be a hindrance to progress.

15.                     Money isn't everything.

16.                     Surround yourself with positive influences.

17.                     Learn to let go of things that don't serve you.

18.                     Your mental health should always be a priority.

19.                     You are never too old to learn something new.

20.                     Being adaptable is essential in a constantly changing world.

21.                     There is beauty in diversity.

22.                     Embrace your cultural heritage.

23.                     Set boundaries and stick to them.

24.                     Never stop dreaming.

25.                     Exercise regularly to maintain physical and mental health.

26.                     It's okay to say no.

27.                     Don't compare yourself to others.

28.                     Celebrate your accomplishments, big and small.

29.                     Practice gratitude.

30.                     Always remember to enjoy the journey, not just the destination.

Moving overseas was a huge turning point in my life. It forced me out of my comfort zone and challenged me to adapt to a new culture and environment. It wasn't always easy, but I'm grateful for the experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today.

Climbing the corporate ladder has also taught me many lessons. I've learnt the importance of hard work, dedication, and networking. However, I've also learnt that success is not everything. It's important to find a balance between work and personal life.

Being single in my 30s has also given me a new perspective on relationships. I've learnt that being alone doesn't mean being lonely. It's important to focus on personal growth and self-love before entering into a relationship.

Traveling has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. It has broadened my perspective and opened my mind to new possibilities. I've learnt that there is so much beauty in diversity and that it's important to embrace different cultures and ways of life.

Making friends in a new environment was initially daunting, but it has been one of the most rewarding experiences. I've learnt that networking is key to professional success, but it's also important to surround yourself with positive influences that can support you through the ups and downs of life.

My 30s have taught me so much about personal growth, self-discovery, and finding meaning in life. It's been a time of transition and transformation, and I'm grateful for every experience that has led me to where I am today.

I hope that my reflections on these 30 lessons will resonate with others who may be going through similar experiences. Life is a journey full of ups and downs, but it's important to remember that every experience has something to teach us.

So, whether you're in your 30s or any other stage of life, I encourage you to keep an open mind, embrace new experiences, and never stop learning. Who knows what the future holds, but I'm excited to see what lessons my 40s will bring.
