Cory Monteith's 5 Best Glee Performances

Cory Monteith, best known for his role as Finn Hudson in Fox’s television series, Glee, passed away last week, when he was found dead in a hotel in Vancouver. With Season 4 over and season 5 of Glee yet to come, Cory is gone, leaving his fans all over the world broken hearted. I personally have been following his show, where this talented actor-singer did leave a great impact and inspired people all around the globe.

He did perform some great numbers in Glee so in this article I shall mention, the 5 Best Performances of Cory Monteith in Glee. I hope the entire gleeks all over can related the songs and the performances below to him.

1.    Don’t Stop Believin – Journey (Season 1)
This song has rather been more like an anthem for the tv series Glee and whenever one remembers Cory, this song from Journey would be the first song one would remember, so here it is, the first one I remembered. Cory was the star of this song, where we got to see the awesome chemistry between Finn Hudson and Rachel Berry, in the pilot episode of Glee Season 1 in the year 2009.

2.  "Losing My Religion" (Season 2)
From one of those most controversial episodes in Glee. “Grilled Cheesus.” Finn Hudson’s cover of this R.E.M. classic is well known, performed when Kurt’s father Burt suffered a heart attack. This performance actually stands as one of Cory Monteith’s most powerful performance in Glee.

3.      “The Scientist” – Coldplay (Season 4)
I have seen Glee fans bursting into tears watching this performance. From Season 4, the Break Up episode, where Finn tells goodbye to Rachel after he breaks up with her, in this heartbreaking song from Coldplay with other stars too joining the song. The sad lyrics, “Take me back to the start. It’s such a shame for us to part indeed”  does touch the emotions felt in  the scenario.

4.      "Just the Way You Are" – Bruno Mars (Season 2)
Remember, the wedding of Burt and Finn’s mother? Finn gave a very sweet and touching performance in this Bruno Mars’ song, as an apology to his stepbrother, for how he could not defend him from being bullied. Yeah, the performance was really touching.

5.      "Jessie's Girl" (Season 1)
This was another classic performance by Cory Monteith in Glee as Finn Hudson when he was rolled down by jealousy with Jesse St. James, who had come between the duo Finn Hudson and Rachel Berry. Ah! This song really showed the classic voice of Cory with his amazing performance.
