You also have to pay a fee of Rs. 500 either by cash or demand draft.

In case you want to go for the offline method, you can download a copy of the Police Certificate Form from the website http://passportindia.gov.in/ or just buy the form from the Passport Seva Kendra and fill it up to obtain your Police Clearance Certificate, attach the necessary documents and submit it in the Passport Seva Kendra with the fees.
